Capricorn 2026 Productathon Info & Team Formation Session

On Sunday, 9 August 2026, Ausdroid hosted the Capricorn 2026 Productathon Info & Team Formation Session for University of Melbourne students interested in AI, robotics, embedded systems, product development and design. During the session, participants learned about the Productathon structure, timeline and judging criteria. We also discussed the importance of building teams with a diverse mix of skills and explored possible directions for this year's theme, Physical AI Innovation in Sports. The session gave participants an opportunity to share early ideas, meet potential teammates and begin thinking about the sports, problems and devices they would like to explore throughout the competition. Participating teams led by an Ausdroid member may receive additional financial support from the club, as well as access to the club's hardware assets, subject to availability.
