Weekly ROS Workshops Build Practical Robotics Skills

Ausdroid ran weekly Robot Operating System (ROS) workshops during August and September 2023 at the University of Melbourne. The series helped participants build practical skills for working with robot software. Sessions covered Linux fundamentals, ROS architecture, packages and nodes, communication between nodes, launch files, RViz visualisation and TF coordinate transforms. Participants worked through examples that connected these concepts to robotics development.
